Vandoren of Paris presents these Java style reeds for the performing tenor saxophone player. Designed in 1983 specifically for jazz and commercial musicians, these reeds have a thicker extremity and a more flexible pallet, which allows vibration over a larger portion of the reed with maximum elasticity. This type of vertebral column gives the musician much greater playing flexibility as the resultant elasticity zone is very large. All this technical jargon means extreme ease of playability and superior tone. If you demand the best then the Vandoren is the reed to choose!

19 pages, Item number 1100119DP, $16.95

Darius Milhaud wrote "Scaramouche" for alto saxophone in 1939. Originally composed for saxophone and orchestra, this edition includes a piano accompaniment, which is a reduction of the orchestral accompaniment. A challenging solo, this piece would be ideal for a contest or audition performance.
